This is John Trainor, a talented graphic artist who donated his time, talent and materials to reproduce our new logo in our lobby. John is a friend and former co-worker of our Director. In his full-time career he is a Captain in the Tenafly Police Department in Bergen County. We thank him for sharing his skills to enhance the look of our facility.

random act of kindness by an anonymous "angel"
Sometime after we closed on Feb. 24, someone came to the pantry and tied a number of warm scarves, gloves, and hats to the poles by our entrance--with little notes on each, telling people who are cold to take them!
Mother Teresa was once quoted as saying, "It's not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving." This community continues to amaze us with the outpouring of generosity and "love" we see every day.
We are grateful for the inspiring person or persons who came up with this idea and then acted on it (and did so anonymously!). THIS is truly caring for your neighbors in need. On behalf of all the people who will be a little warmer today because of "the love you put into giving," we thank you. You not only warmed the recipients of your kindness but you warmed all of our hearts as well! THANK YOU!
